Tallow Sunscreen - 1.5oz Stick
A tallow based sunscreen that is safe for your skin!
Made with beef tallow, coconut oil, avocado oil, beeswax and non-nano zinc oxide - that’s it! We estimate that the SPF is about 20, but that has not been tested. That number comes from adding up the SPF values of each ingredient individually. But somethings is better than nothing, right?
Non-nano zinc is great because it doesn’t absorb into your skin and creates a physical barrier from harmful UV rays. The other ingredients are skin friendly and great moisturizers.
This sunscreen is not runny, but it is thinner than tallow balm. It almost melts in your fingertips and rubs in smooth and consistently with a slight white tint. This small 1.5oz stick is great for applying to the face without getting your fingers a mess. Sunscreen will still need rubbed in, but it definitely reduces the greasy finger factor!
As this is a natural product with no preservatives or stabilizers, make sure to keep it out of the sun and very hot weather for long periods of time. The ingredients will soften with heat.
